Special lecture by Professor Marco Ruffini

In conjunction with Professor Marco Ruffini’s visit to Japan from the University of Dublin, a special lecture was held at our university in early July. Titled “Machine learning enabling optical spectrum as a service for dynamic provisioning of optical capacity”, Professor Ruffini delivered a presentation on the use of machine learning to enable "Optical Spectrum as a Service" for the dynamic management of optical transmission capacity. The lecture was followed by an active and engaging Q&A session.
