{"id":1790,"date":"2024-02-15T14:46:00","date_gmt":"2024-02-15T05:46:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.comm.tcu.ac.jp\/masuda-lab\/?p=1790"},"modified":"2025-11-11T12:31:18","modified_gmt":"2025-11-11T03:31:18","slug":"%e3%80%8cdevelopment-of-a-simplified-work-schedule-management-system-using-open-source-software-oss%e3%80%8d%ef%bc%88-undergraduate-students-research-for-the-2023-academic-year-%ef%bc%89","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.comm.tcu.ac.jp\/masuda-lab\/en\/archives\/1790","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Development of a simplified work schedule management system using open-source software (OSS)&#8221;\uff08 Undergraduate student\u2019s research for the 2023 academic year \uff09"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this study, we developed a simplified work schedule management system using \u201cLibreOffice Calc, \u201d (\u203b1) a free open-source software (OSS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The system was designed to implement four key functions equivalent to those of existing paid shift management software: shift input and submission, assignment of required personnel, automatic help email notifications, and automatic shift adjustment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a result, it was confirmed that shift input and personnel adjustment could be easily performed within Calc, contributing to improved management efficiency. On the other hand, it was found that executing automatic email transmission involving external service integration was difficult.
