HEET's vision

HEET contributes to prevention of global warming and mitigation of energy resource depletion by conducting research to reduce friction losses generated in various components of the internal combustion engine, cooling losses occurring mainly in combustion chamber and to utilyze hydrogen as fuel which can be produced from renewable primary energy without producing CO2 emissions.
Specifically, we have independently been developing independently a special measurement technology that can clarify the energy loss (heat loss and friction loss) in the main component of the engine such as the combustion chamber, the piston / piston ring / bearing, etc. and the influx mechanism of the lubricating oil into the combustion chamber. We are conducting joint research with many corporations and universities as one of the engine research bases aiming for super high thermal efficiency.
In research on hydrogen engines, we are developing a new combustion method which can realize research to realize high thermal efficiency and low NOx emissions simultaneously by optimizing hydrogen jet. a new combustion method that can reduce cooling loss.
